WHO WE ARE
During my first trip to Patagonia I met Vianney, sparking a lifelong friendship through eating, eating some more, climbing a little, stashing gear under boulders, and eating.
I spent two months in Cochamó, making lifelong friendships. It was my first big wall climbing expedition and it changed who I am as a human being. But it wasn’t just learning how to climb the giant granite walls.
It was the friends I made, the kindness and humor of the native people of the Andes, the old moss covered houses, late night dancing after asados, the singing, the old growth jungle, the birds, the turquoise rivers, los gauchos (cowboys), and the life changing conversations I had while hiking or climbing. At a difficult time in my life, it filled my heart and soul.
We want to share that joy with you.
After both pursuing careers in guiding, Vianney and I, , each of us on the polar opposite side of the planet, decided to launch our own company to share our sense of adventure, and to bring mountain hungry souls off the beaten path in Patagonia, a place that we love dearly.
We promise unmatched trips to all ability levels and ages to pristine and remote wilderness with quality food, local guides, vivid journeys, and a lot of humor.
I’ve been visiting my friends in the southern hemisphere every year for a few months, in need of remote expeditions powered by legs, arms and smiles. Patagonia became a home away from home, a playground for trekking, pack-rafting, peak bagging, glacier crossing, alpine climbing and so on…
Vianney currently lives in Bariloche, Argentinian Patagonia. I’m living in Anchorage, Alaska.
We are both professional guides, big wall climbers, backcountry cooks, and lovers of rivers.
Can’t wait to enjoy your company in a beautiful place.
