HIKING IN VALLE ENCANTADO

Discover the secret jewel of the steppe and its geological wonders
A beautiful view that everybody can enjoy. A perfect option for stormy days, usually sheltered from the rain.

The trail starts 60 km north of Bariloche (Ruta 237), the trailhead is accessible by car, driving an hour north on the paved road 237. 

The hike can easily be adapted to every hiking level. It’s a perfect adventure for days that are not too hot, fresh summer days or sunny winter days, spring, and autumn are the best time. Usually when it's raining in Bariloche, the weather is nicer over there. 

We will start our day hiking through a native forest that will let us gain elevation till getting seeing interesting geological formation.

Arriving on the Skyline of the mountain we will enjoy a 360 view. The Cuyin Manzano River and the Andes on one side, and the beautiful architectural volcanic formation of Valle Encantado on the other. The deep blue Limay river, splitting the valley in two, will be on sight all day.

We will enjoy lunch with a unique view. After a nice hikking day we will take a nice rest on the beach before heading back to civilization.
