OUR TRIPS :

Vuriloche - 6 or 7 Days

This fantastic backcountry route which follows one of the oldest routes through the Andes in the region begins in Pampa Linda in the heart of Nahuel Huapi National Park in Argentina. We will leave from Bariloche and travel to Pampa Linda where we’ll stay for one evening enjoying the views of one of the most iconic mountains in Patagonia: Tronador. Day two we cross the border into Chile by foot and head down to meet the border police in an incredibly remote setting. From there the trip gets more and more remote passing an incredible hot springs, spectacular remote ranches, glaciated rivers, alerces, and native forest until we reach lake Cayatué in Chile. This trip ends in Puerto Varas.

Paso León : Backpacking + Day Hiking in Cochamó - 9 days

This multi-day border crossing hike starts in the Patagonian town of Bariloche, Argentina. We will travel to the border and walk during 5 days to get to Cochamó where we will base-camp, day hike, and explore the valleys above for a few days before going back to civilization in the beautiful town of Puerto Varas, Chile.
This gives the option of day hikes to discover Cochamó and the higher valleys summits, which is where all the magic happens.

Lago Puelo to Rio Puelo - 4 to 6 Days

An incredible adventure that can be executed in a variety of ways. This can be done with minimal walking and more boat crossings, or more backpacking and less boat crossings. This makes the trip easily adaptable to any ability level. Our journey begins in the town of Lago Puelo in Argentina and ends in the town of Llanada Grande, Chile. Also available on this trip are several white water rafting and pack rafting experiences logistically supported by the wonderful Hostal Puelo Libre. Class 2-4.
